Iconic Polhena began as a vision — to create a place where the raw beauty of Sri Lanka's southern coastline could be experienced without compromise. Built at 50, Polhena Beach Road, right on the water's edge, every room was designed to frame the Indian Ocean as a living canvas.
The architecture speaks in the language of this land: floor-to-ceiling glass that dissolves the boundary between room and reef, locally-sourced teak that tells its own story, and an infinity pool that bleeds into the horizon. The iconic stilt fishermen of Polhena, visible from every ocean-facing window, are a living reminder of the tradition this coast has carried for generations.
